Sarawak Blood Donors Society to Organise Blood Donation Campaign at Emart Tabuan Jaya

KUCHING, 17 October 2026 – The Sarawak Blood Donors Society (PPDS) will organise a blood donation campaign on Saturday, 17 October 2026, at Emart Tabuan Jaya, Kuching, to encourage voluntary blood donation and support the continuous need for a safe and adequate blood supply for patients in hospitals.

The campaign will run from 10.00 AM to 3.00 PM under the theme, “Give the Gift of Life. Donate Blood.” Members of the public, regular blood donors and first-time donors are warmly invited to participate in this meaningful lifesaving initiative.

Blood donation plays a vital role in supporting patients requiring blood transfusions due to accidents, medical conditions, surgeries and other emergencies. Every eligible donor can make a valuable contribution towards saving lives.

As a token of appreciation, complimentary goodies bags will be provided to blood donors participating in the campaign.

PPDS is pleased to have Emart Tabuan Jaya as the venue sponsor, with generous sponsorship from Berry Joy, QLi and My Happy. The campaign is organised jointly by PPDS and the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, Kuching Branch, with support from the Blood Bank of Sarawak General Hospital.
