🩸 Successful Blood Donation Drive Held in Conjunction with SHEDA Property Expo 2026

The Sarawak Blood Donors Society (PPDS), in collaboration with the Kuching Branch of the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, Blood Bank of Sarawak General Hospital and the Ministry of Health Malaysia, successfully organised a Blood Donation Drive in conjunction with the SHEDA Property Expo 2026 on 5 September 2026.

The campaign was held at the Hornbill Meeting Room, voco Kuching by IHG, from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.

The event received a tremendous response from the public, with more than 100 people turning up to support the blood donation drive. Following the necessary medical screening, 80 donors successfully donated blood and contributed to strengthening the blood supply for patients in need.

The encouraging turnout reflects the continued generosity and community spirit of the people of Sarawak. PPDS extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who took the time to come forward and donate, as well as to the organisers and partners who made the campaign possible.

Special appreciation goes to the Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (SHEDA) for providing the platform to incorporate this meaningful community initiative into SHEDA Property Expo 2026, and to voco Kuching by IHG for providing the venue.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to all the volunteers, medical personnel and supporting organisations for their valuable assistance throughout the campaign.
